Los Angeles Clippers – Cleveland Cavaliers – NBA actioan is back in LA. Cavs need to get back on winning strake.
- Doc Rivers can still coach as if there were any doubts. His Clippers lost Chirs Paul in the offseason and traded away star Blake Griffin. Danilo Gallinari has been injured most of the season but they do have Lou Williams and added Tobias Harris in the Griffin deal. Harris has been very good for the Clippers averaging 23 points per game over his last four. He’s averaging 18.4 points and 5.5 rebounds overall. On the season, Los Angeles is averaging 109.2 points per game and they are allowing 108.2 points per game. Lou Williams is at his best season averaging 23.2 points and 5.5 assists. Danilo Gallinari (right hand) has a non-displaced fracture in his right hand and he will be re-evaluated in two weeks and Avery Bradley (groin) said he’s not sure if he will be able to play again this season.
- Cleveland Cavaliers got back in the win column with a solid 113-108 away win over the Nuggets. Cavs are 5th in the league in scoring this season with 110 points per game. Cleveland team are below average defensively, ranking tied for 27th in scoring defense by allowing 109.9 points per game. This problem in defence is more than fixed, they make an huge defence game in last game and from now they will have the defence strong team point. LeBron James is averaging 27 points and nine assists. George Hill, Rodney Hood (16.7 points) and Larry Nance Jr. are some of the rotation guys that can step up and have a big game. Cavaliers coach Ty Lue said Tristan Thompson (ankle) will miss the next two weeks but Larry Nance is a strong pickup and had a monster game in the starting lineup on Monday with 22 points, 15 rebounds, one assist and two steals.
- Both teams are more focused and we all see more attention in defence. I’m expected to see many rebounds tonight, with DeAndre Jordan with more than 15 tonight for Clippers and Nance and James to combine for more than 25. My prediction for Los Angeles Clippers – Cleveland Cavaliers is below.
Prediction: Under 236.5 points, 1.50 odds.
